His passion for education has prompted him to be well-received by both his audience and peers. Misael has been involved in every aspect of the beauty industry for over fourteen years. This has allowed Misael to concentrate on the total image, making him a well-rounded hairdresser and educator.
His level of experience, knowledge of hair color and his intense ability to communicate with others has allowed Misael to flourish. The drive to share his knowledge brought him to Schwarzkopf Professional.

Candace Bossendorfer
Throughout the years, Candace Bossendorfer has developed a philosophy that she believes has translated into creating synergy between the salon and the client. Candace refers to this as “hair care symbiosis.” Candace has trained with Vidal Sassoon, Dwight Miller, Scott Cole and Robert Cromeans. Before she started her career in hair, Candace was a dancer and modeled. She uses the flexibility of dance and choreography to help develop a hip and edgy approach to hair. Candace is based in Los Angeles where she runs her salon, Pomp Studio.

Kathy Simon
Kathy Simon is the founder of The Mekka System of Education. Her approach to teaching the art of hair is fresh and truly modern, yet it is based upon philosophy of fundamental simplicity utilizing timeless geometric principles.
Kathy Simon developed her sophisticated and effective teaching approach working as a stylist and educator for internationally renowned salons and academies. She began her career in Montreal, Canada in 1986. Pursuing her passion for hair, she spent the next 14 years on an international hair inspired journey that took her to major cities in Europe, Canada and the USA. She honed her skills working as a stylist and educator for the internationally renowned Vidal Sassoon in London, England, as well as artistic director and educator for Suki’s academy in Vancouver, Canada. Kathy’s international experiences have led to the creation of an innovative teaching system, The Mekka System of Education.

Nicole Hartmann
Nicole Hartmann is a second generation hairdresser who began her career at the age of sixteen while living in Munich, Germany. She quickly moved into the spotlight by competing and winning National and International competitions. Nicole’s work has been featured in Magazines in Germany such as “Brigitte”, “Madame” and “Fuer Sie” as well as in the United States. In 2000, Nicole moved to Los Angeles and began working for Schwarzkopf Professional as a guest artist. Hair and fashion are her true passions and her knowledge of both will help to re-inspire the artists who attend her classes.

Tyler Colton
With a signature style and unique approach that bridges clean simple glamour to an aggressive edge, Tyler Colton brings a fresh and creative approach to hairstyling. Tyler has been one of Hollywood’s top and most sought after hairstylists for the past 12 years. The diversity of his creativity includes styling Grammy Award winning music artists, Avril Lavigne and Sarah McLachlan to Oscar winners Hillary Swank and Charlize Theron, as well as film/television superstars Eva Longoria, and Jennifer Garner. Tyler’s work is also represented on the covers of and inside top national and international publications including, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Elle, GQ, Interview, In-Style, Entertainment Weekly, Teen People, Maxim, and Cosmo.

With over 12 years of experience, Jerry Chang’s precision cutting is complimented by his passion for technical color design. His career experiences began with extensive training of contemporary classics and creative color courses at the Vidal Sassoon Academy. He continues to improve his skills through international training with elite educators such as Tim Hartley, Annie Humphreys, and Kathy Simon. As the Director of Color for Carlton Hair International, Jerry shares his artistic visions and his passion for hair color through various medias. As the integral part of the Carlton Hair Artistic Team, his creations are featured in publications such as Hairdressers Journal, American Salon, Modern Salon, and industry advertisements.

Roxanne demonstrates a special flair for creating custom multi-dimensional color, as well as an affinity for color correction.

With over 18 years experience in the industry, her knowledge, excitement, and ability to demonstrate hair fashion and color in a simplistic straightforward manner inspires and motivates her audience’s imagination. Karyn has been trained and had the privilege to work with artists such as John Sahag in dry haircutting technique and with the Pintura hair painting technique. She has also studied under Vidal Sasson and Kathy Simon. Karyn understands the diversity in training and the importance of personalizing you as a stylist.
